La Chèvre De Lavardin

I suppose it's not the only one. This goat was standing in just the right place for me to capture its silhouette against the winter sky. It was almost ghostly. Are there such things as were-goats? You know, like werewolves, only goats? I didn't think so.

Were we watching the goat, or was it watching us?

I don't remember if there was a small herd, or just this one. But there it was.

  1. C'est la chevre de Monsieur Seguin.
    Great shot!

  2. Monsieur Seguin n'avait jamais eu de bonheur avec ses chèvres. Il les perdait toutes de la même façon...

  3. At fist I thought it was a bronze renddtion of the legendary goat that defended the château de Lavardin, all by itself, from ruthless assailants!

  4. Walt

Winter is only a month old :-)
It's autumn that is depressing ..............

  5. Weregoats..OK, that is really funny! I never would have thought of it..

  6. Walt, I know just how you feel. I'm looking forward to spring too. But remember: When the going gets tough, the tough get going :)

P.S. The photo is just great!

  7. Maybe he's posing for the next label on Goats Do Roam wine.

  8. Starman, LOL - MDR, je m'en tiens les côtes (du Rhône).

  9. nadege, mmmmm, blanquette de chèvre...

chm, I think I saw it move.

beaver, I'm still looking forward to spring.

diogenes, I have a warped sense of humor...

    martine, going... like to Tahiti?

    starman, could be...

    chm, :)

  10. Sure I have herd of goats.

  11. michael, how about goasts? ;)

Pour your heart out! I'm listening.
