La danseuse

I think this seed caught among some plant stems looks like a ballerina. It really pops out in black and white.

I also think the spines on the leaves are cool. Click to gisellify.

  1. Great photo and excellent decision to convert it to black and white.

  2. And it's so very delicate among all those thorns too.

  4. I'd frame that one. A work of art.

  5. Exquisite. But the picture also has a slightly uneasy feeling. The "ballerina" so delicate, the setting so sharp, pointed and edgy. What peril!

    You should frame it.

  7. Magnifique, Walt! Good choice to use the black & white option. How long do you take when you compose your photos on the computer? Just curious. It appears you are very conscientious about your photos and I appreciate it!

  10. Quelle belle photo ! Pleine de légèreté et de délicatesse !

May I ask you what the verb "Gisellify" refers to ? Has Mitchell coined it, referring to the famous "ballet", "Gisèle" ??? Merci d'avance !
