It's that time of year

The primroses have started blooming. I thought you'd want to know. There will be more photos.

Primroses blooming in our yard. We had rain during the night and there were still drops on the flowers when I took the pictures.

We're still trying to wrap our heads around the roof issue. You see, it leaks when we have very heavy rain. It's only happened a few times in the ten years we've been here, but that's still too much. So we have a roofer coming to evaluate it again.

  1. I saw some this colour on the roadside by your hedge when we visited the other day.

  2. Beautiful. We had this filling a bed in front of our house in San Francisco. (Maybe you saw them when you walked by.)

  5. Purple primroses remind me of my grandfather's garden in the 1950s. Happy memories! Pauline

  9. Didn't you already pay to have the roof fixed? You should demand they return and do the job correctly. Or refund your money!
