We didn't run away from America or Bush, or leave for any two-dimensional reasons. Our decision to move to France was much more complex than you may be able to understand. We're invested here and plan to stay as long as we're welcome. That doesn't stop us from feeling good about what can only be described as positive developments in the US. We are Americans; that will not change. And perhaps now our fellow countrymen can work to repair our damaged reputation, and do so with grace and humility.
