Perhaps it would be a bit less if I bought it in France.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17913552.post-41254133277093615192007-04-06T11:05:00.000+02:002007-04-06T11:05:00.000+02:00I'm going to check out my wine retailer and see if...I'm going to check out my wine retailer and see if I can find this Saint Emilion you speak of. I've been drinking alot of Bordeux lately. I'm taking a trip to Paris in May so I'll have to pick some up if I can't get it here. Thanks for the inspiration.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17913552.post-1576993363232872392007-04-06T08:03:00.000+02:002007-04-06T08:03:00.000+02:00Jayne, definitely for real. These are/were not uncommon in the wine producing areas around France.

Claude, the wine or the place ?wcshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00551283829616757577noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17913552.post-47082662692240416172007-04-05T23:25:00.000+02:002007-04-05T23:25:00.000+02:00Is that first picture for real or is a photoshoppe...Is that first picture for real or is a photoshopped one? I had been there the first time in 1973, when Eleanor was living in Bordeaux. We rented a Simca and drove out there. I had read a lot of Montaigne's essays when I was in college.

I was glad to go back in 1989, and I hope to go again one day. Seeing Montaigne's study and his desk another time was important to me. We bought a bottle of St-Michel wine while we were there, a 1970 vintage, and we finally opened it and drank it on December 31, 1999.Ken Broadhursthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04430899802705818716noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17913552.post-33155951405281201842007-04-05T10:24:00.000+02:002007-04-05T10:24:00.000+02:00I love Saint Emilion!I love Saint Emilion!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
