They have a much shorter digestive system than people do, so stuff goes, um, through fairly quickly. The mild winter resulted in the flourishing of certain organisms in stagnant water which gave him the trots. It took a long time to get rid of it.<br />Apart from knowing what day of the week it is, the other only important thing in everyday life is to know the state of the dog's bowels.
