Back in Business

We're back after 5 days in the Dordogne! Ken, Sue, and I left on Friday for a long weekend in a little hamlet just outside of Sarlat in the valley of the Dordogne River. My next few posts will contain some of the photos from the trip along with some impressions of the place.

The first impression: it's beautiful. This shot is of the river and its valley taken from Domme. We drove down from the Loire on Friday morning, had lunch in Souillac, and made our way to the gîte we rented in the afternoon, stopping of course in many of the famous towns along the river to look and take pictures.

We checked in at about 6pm and prepared a little dinner... but I'll tell more about that in the next post.
