Why don't we have fountains like these in the New World? I guess they were too busy fighting the Indians, and then among each other. We're starting in Toronto to have a little pond here and there in the city, sometimes with a modern sculpture. Of course yours has the patine du temps. It's so charming!
Living outside of Saint-Aignan-sur-Cher since 2003. You'll find here pictures and descriptions of our daily life in rural France, some travels, and other stuff about me, my husband Ken, and our dog Tasha.
Oh, this is cool, today! I need to type in "snoow" to comment and it's SNOWING here in 'Bama as I type. I think your blog may be haunted;-)
ReplyDeleteHave you ever seen snow in Seguret?
BTW I like your photo a lot, especially the fountain. It reminds me of the simple beauty of French towns.

ReplyDeleteevelyn, more snow? Wow. I've not seen snow in Provence. But up here where we live is another story...
ReplyDeleteclaudia, some cities, like NY and Boston, are full of fountains, although there are probably few that are this charming.
