If all has gone according to plan, I'm on my way to New York. I'm taking the train very early this morning to Charles De Gualle airport, then flying via Air France to Boston. Clothes are packed. Batteries are charged. Tickets are in order. Passport and other documents gathered.
Once in Boston, I'm picking up a rental car and driving to Albany, NY, my home town, which should be about a three hour drive. I have a laptop, so I'm hoping I'll be online and posting during my trip.
Have a safe trip! And great idea about driving from Boston to Albany, you are going to drive right through the most beautiful area of Mass at the perfect time of year... I am jealous. Have fun and keep us updated. - Justin
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to your posts from the other side of the Atlantic! That is, if you have the time to post, as you'll probably will we very busy visiting family and friends. Enjoy your trip! Martine
ReplyDeleteHope your flight is going smoothly as I type... enjoy the lovely drive up to Albany :)

CAUTION!
ReplyDeleteThere is a new law in Massachusetts which prohibits blogging while driving! This same law also prohibits bathing of wombats, diamond cutting, clock-making, atom splitting, and a whole host of other activities. Best to read up on it before you leave Logan. Spy-cam surveillance is in effect on the Mass Pike.
Ken told us of your safe arrival at CDG. I hope you have a good flight to Logan and are able to get some shut eye so that you'll be alert on your drive to Albany.
ReplyDeleteBonne route and post some fall color when you get a chance.
And another poster hoping for a sfe trip!
ReplyDeleteSay hi to Sean and Jeffrey for me...I hope you enjoy your trip back and that your travels are safe and happy!
ReplyDeleteWe hope you had a safe and tolerable journey. Have fun.
ReplyDeleteBon voyage!
ReplyDeleteSafe travel, and enjoy your time with family and friends (ie: Sean & Jeffrey).
ReplyDeleteI am jealous you will meet up with Sean
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone! Everything went smoothly and I arrived in Albany about 9 pm as planned. Stayed up with my friends for a little while then it was bedtime, as I had been up for nearly 24 hours.
ReplyDeleteThe drive through Mass was in the dark, but I'll do it again the other way in 2 weeks in daylight.
