Callie is doing remarkably well during all the upheaval. Her favorite napping place is now gone, but she's making do with alternative locations. The napping continues. Her food and water bowls have been relocated. She still eats normally.
She's not freaked out by the noise or the comings and goings of the workers. The only thing she wants to do is to sit in the middle of all the action just to keep an eye on things. We cannot have that, because someone is likely to trip over her.
Awww!! Soooo cute!!
ReplyDeleteHI Walt, That's the real sheep dog for you ... always on the look-out and trying to control the situation. Callie is such a good dog ... you're very lucky to have her. Good luck on the building work!
ReplyDeleteVery cute puppeh. My eldest cat is the total opposite: I move anything in my apartment and she starts fritzing out and will eventually puke in the middle of the floor. I've started keeping her in her carrier while cleaning. LOL
ReplyDeleteYou can tell by Callie's eyes that she is super smart. What a beauty too! You must just love her to death!
ReplyDeleteAwww, cute expression on a cute pup.

ReplyDeleteCallie; "coucou je suis là" :-)
ReplyDeleteI said to Sue after seeing Callie's eyes, "Aw, can we get a dog when we get home, can we, can we, can we." - watch this space.
ReplyDeleteLeon
When I was renovating the Seattle house, Bondi used to watch all the new developments - switched stairways, doors etc as if he was mapping it all out for future reference.
ReplyDeleteWhy do dogs seem to enjoy being where they will get in everybody's way, in just the right spot to get trodden on? Then they look so put-out when you step on their foot or trip over their head. And of course you feel so guilty for doing it.
ReplyDeleteI am always apologising to Lulu for catching her foot by accident when it is really her fault for standing right behind me when I am doing something like carrying a pot of hot tea or similar. How do you explain health and safety and risk assessment to a dog ? !!
PS I forgot to say that is a brilliant expression on Callie's face. As if she is thinking "haven't they finished, yet?"
