This is where we had lunch a couple of Sundays ago. If memory serves, I had a smoked salmon appetizer and a lamb confit main course. Very tasty. Our thanks to Peter and Jill.
Whew. It's with a sigh of relief that I read your blog today. I was afraid that you and Ken might both take a break at the same time. I remember before when you took a sabbatical and I missed my daily update from Walt.
I'm going right to my pens to rewrite that sign and practice my calligraphy. Love that style of lettering. I'll bet that smoked salmon appetizer was delish!
I see that you're enjoying beautiful evening temperatures: 70 degrees F. at 9:00 p.m. Our evenings have really cooled off, and I'm hoping it will warm up a little bit for the weekend so it won't be too cold for the outside summer concert in the park.
Living outside of Saint-Aignan-sur-Cher since 2003. You'll find here pictures and descriptions of our daily life in rural France, some travels, and other stuff about me, my husband Ken, and our dog Tasha.
Yum yum. Diane
ReplyDeleteDoes your title mean that you too, like Ken, have stopped blogging? :(
ReplyDeletemartine, oh no... it's just a play on the expression, "on n'est pas sorti de l'auberge." :)
DeleteP.S. And I don't mean the 'Auberge' ... :)
ReplyDeleteThat sign's pretty cool! It looks like you had lunch in the Middle Ages.
ReplyDeletem.

ReplyDeleteGreat photo and sounds like a great meal too!
ReplyDeleteCarolyn and Martine, I was holding my breath, too!!!
ReplyDeleteWalt, love that sign :)
I like the little light.
