Today, being the first of March, we turn to the old saying. Since it's a mild day (no wind, no precipitation, temperatures above freezing), we could say that March is coming "in like a lamb." Which means, of course, it should go "out like a lion." We will see.
Let's hope we don't see any more of this. February snow!
In France we expect
les giboulées de mars (March squalls). Again, we shall see. Spring brings very changeable weather. I'm just hoping it brings spring.
Another gorgeous snowy photo Walt!
ReplyDelete"I'm just hoping it brings spring." HA! :))
ReplyDeleteMarch can be lovely, like last year, or it can be very disappointing, like most years !!
ReplyDeleteLet's hope for a good one.
A really lovely photo even if it does feature the dreaded snow.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, cold and frosty Walt.
ReplyDeleteI hope Spring sneaks in and warms things for you!
ReplyDeleteit's so muddy in my back yard the deer hoof prints sink deep.
ReplyDeletethe snowdrops (les fleurs) are up, but nothing else yet. it's been too cold and gloomy the past few days.
Your photos make me want to be out there walking in it. But I'm sure I'd get over THAT quickly!
