The longer I stare at this image, the more patterns I see. Horizontally. Vertically. Even the graffiti has a rhythm to it. I wonder what this building would look like with the windows unshuttered.
Look at the texture in that stone wall just above the waterline.
Living outside of Saint-Aignan-sur-Cher since 2003. You'll find here pictures and descriptions of our daily life in rural France, some travels, and other stuff about me, my husband Ken, and our dog Tasha.
Those blinds/shutters are crying out for decent paint job some sort of trompe l'oeil would be fun.
ReplyDeleteNot tired of seeing different places in the world. Montreal seems to be quite different to what we saw of Canada.
ReplyDeleteI could never get tired of your view of any particular place.
ReplyDeletepotty, I wonder if the building's going to be demolished. Not sure.
ReplyDeleteandrew, well, there are certainly prettier parts of Montréal. I just had this idea that I wanted to see the canal and ended up walking along it through a transitioning industrial district.
