Reindeer on the shelf

Who needs an elf when you've got a reindeer on the shelf? The tree went up on Friday afternoon. The lights are on. But that's as far as I got. The rest will happen today and, if necessary, on Sunday.

      evelyn, we don't see many elves around here these days. It's mostly dwarves and hobbits. ;)

      michael, your question prompted me to look at his tag. He's not a reindeer, but a moose, and his name is Moosletoe, born December 23, 2003. I never knew until now.
