Wildflower

I'm not sure what this is called. It looks like wild carrot, but I don't think it is. But it could be related. At any rate, it's pretty and there is a lot of it out among the grape vines.

Wildflower.

The Olympic frenzy is ramping up. That's almost all that we'll see on tv for the next three weeks. Some events are already happening before the opening ceremony on Friday. I'm hoping for lots of nice pictures of Paris.

  1. It is Yarrow [Achillea millefolium] the parent of a lot of the garden Achillieas like "Cassis" the really purple version.
The plant is a member of the Daisy family and there is a pink wild version, too!

  4. I am not sure how much I can watch the Olympics as I don't have cable tv. I only stream. I have learned that with my iPhone, I can take a photo, and then when I look at it, there is a little "i" where you can click it, and it will tell you what kind of plant it is. It is not always correct though.

  5. I’m excited about the Olympics, also… I have a feeling it’s gonna be largely images of indoor sporting events. It might as well be in Wyoming. I’m frustrated also that so much of it is only on pay per channel streaming. We’ll see what we can get on the network channel:-)

Olympics's is always TV time for me! I do not have extensive cable resources so I will be relying on NBC for their coverage! I have ordered and received my Paris 2024 Olympic's T-shirt and I will start wearing it tomorrow for the Opening Ceremony. I can't wait to see everyone floating down the Seine! Woohoo!

  7. I don’t have a tv in my summer home so I’ll be searching online for some Olympics coverage. Actually, we haven’t watched tv since early April. How have we survived?!
