Records are being broken all over France as our historic heat wave continues. We're expecting a high of 42ºC today. That's nearly 108ºF. Yikes! Sleeping last night was awful. It'll be worse tonight, they say.
All of Europe is front-page news in nyt today. I have a classmate who returns to France today and then flies home tomorrow. She has been in Ireland for the past week. I feel for you, three. Today and tomorrow we are forecast for 91. That seems unbearable, but it is a far cry from your temps. Stay cool. I wish I could send you our 91 degrees.
Living outside of Saint-Aignan-sur-Cher since 2003. You'll find here pictures and descriptions of our daily life in rural France, some travels, and other stuff about me, my husband Ken, and our dog Tasha.
Oh my gosh, that's HOT.
ReplyDeleteThis heatwave is awful but you don’t live somewhere that prepared for weather like this.
ReplyDeleteI hope this is the last heatwave for you this year, but that is probably too much to hope for.
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry for you two and Tasha!
ReplyDeleteGood grief, that’s too hot! Can you sleep on your lower level? Would that be any cooler?
