Here's the bridge over the Cher at Saint-Aignan looking downstream. The new passerelle is on the other side; you can't see it from this angle. As you can see from the sign, the autoroute entrance/exit is across the bridge. It's a choke point for heavy traffic.
Very little traffic at this hour on a Saturday. A summer weekday, with tourists heading for the zoo, is another story.
Today is predicted to be a hot one, even hotter than yesterday. Yikes!
It looks so idyllic at the moment. Would love to visit the zoo, too.

ReplyDeleteOh, yes, the reflection is very cool. I'll be thinking of you in the heat! The news has been non stop talking about the extreme heat in the east... NYC, blistering at 100°F, Boston... 100°F... New Jersey towns, 100°F... I think it's calming down a bit after today. Upper 90°sF here in St. Louis, too, but we have a new whole-house AC (just put in in May), and it is working beautifully... for those of us who prefer AC, it's a fabulous relief.
