I'm planning to go back to the optical shop that made my new glasses a couple of months ago. They're just not working. I kept thinking they would, that my eyes would adjust to them, but I've had it at this point. There's one tiny point on each lens where things are clear. Otherwise, my vision is blurry and distorted. Working at the computer is almost impossible and very uncomfortable. I trip over rocks on the vineyard road; my depth perception sucks. I worry about driving. Ugh. I checked my paper work and I'm still within the adaptation period for guaranteed replacement lenses.
That sucks about the glasses.
ReplyDeleteIt could be just a slight adjustment. Progressive lenses are very sensitive to placement on your face. I hope that is all it is but it may not be so a recheck is a good option. Good luck.
ReplyDeleteInteresting photo. I never got to go through a lock in a boat but thought it would be fun although it would probably get old after a while. I'm having the same trouble with my progressive lens. My doctor gave me a new prescription, saying "this may not be any better" warning. It was worse, but maybe it's the placement measurements. I should have taken the glasses back but I didn't so I'm stuck. The same thing happened to Lewis when he got a new prescription- he's using his old pair of glasses still. Hoping you can get yours adjusted.
