This was yesterday's sunrise from out by the lone walnut tree among the grape vines. It was brief; soon after I snapped this shot the sun rose up behind the clouds and the color faded.
Our hamlet is visible on the right.
I've just realized how close Christmas is. On Saturday I'll go to the market in town and order our holiday bird. We're planning on a chapon de pintade this year, a male Guinea fowl, as the main course.
Once again, a very beautiful picture, Walt! Thanks ;-)!

DeleteBeautiful photo. It amazes me how quickly those opportunities pass.
ReplyDeletePerfect timing!
ReplyDeleteWow wow wow! Gorgeous capture of this, Walt.
ReplyDeleteYes, Christmas is suddenly all around, and I’m loving it (being home every day, now, is another help in appreciating having Christmas around me, here at home).
Our inversion layer is supposed to be gone early afternoon. Yesterday, we were totally in grey. It was not pleasant. I would have loved to have awakened to your sunrise and blue sky! At least you caught it with your camera in case you continue like us with clouds.
