It hasn't been a lovely winter. Overcast, rainy, and cold most of the time. And both of us were sick for about two months. Nearly everyone we talk to says they had this virus, whatever it was. Our doctor told us it was "something going around." I'll be happy to see March go.
Tree trunks.
At the risk of jinxing spring, we are enjoying more sunny days. It's still not very warm, but the sunshine helps it not to feel too cold. I'm hopeful that we have more and more sunny days as April arrives.
Wonderful photo. Wishing you many happy days of sunshine and good health.
ReplyDeleteWe are very much appreciating spring as it settles in around here. Our patch of peonies is growing quickly... the stalks were about 6 inches about a week or so ago, it seems, and now they are 15 inches or so... just like that! And, my tulips are starting to blossom, and patches of daffodils are in various stages of flowering and ending their flowering period.Woo hoo!
ReplyDeleteWe are in the same situation as you. Cloudy skies and rain interrupted by warmth of the sun from time to time. I will gladly accept extra weeks of rain if it prevents wildfires here.
