Two Cats, A Dog, And A Spider

The not-so-wildlife in and around Rouen:

This is Filou, our friends' cat. He didn't want his picture taken a this particular moment. He is, however, a very friendly cat.

This cat belongs to one of the neighbors.

We came upon this little guy (or gal) while strolling around central Rouen on Saturday afternoon.

This spider was resting quietly in our friends' bay hedge.

Congratulations, Chris! You correctly identified Châteauneuf du Pape as the vineyard in last week's Name That Vineyard contest. And last week's contest was the last of the short-lived series, due to underwhelming enthusiasm. Oh well, that's the way the cork bounces!
