I swiped this meme from Muzbot. Here are the instructions:
1. http://wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Random
The first article title on the page is the name of your band.
2. http://www.quotationspage.com/random.php3
The last four words of the very last quote is the title of your album.
3. http://www.flickr.com/explore/interesting/7days/
The third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover.
4. Use your graphics program of choice to throw them together, and post the result:
I took whatever came up first. I cropped the photo so it would fit into the square album format, but otherwise it's untouched. This is probably the first and last album that will ever be made by this fictional group. I mean, who would buy music from a band with that name?
A strange coincidence, though: I actually used to work in the U.S. House of Representatives back when I lived in Washington, DC, many moons ago.

Your links didn't work for me, but I got the idea. Reminds me of the pre-internet whore name deal: http://www.wikiality.com/Porn_Name
ReplyDeleteI would be Kip Walnut.
Update... only link #1 didn't work for me. So I would be "Unnamed Band" "If a thing isn't worth saying, you sing it" + http://www.flickr.com/photos/pretty_qtr/2792994299/
ReplyDeleteIf you manually cut and past it or just type it into the browser address, it should work. That's what I had to do.
ReplyDeleteer, that should be PASTE.
ReplyDeleteJust found your blog and what a funny way to start! I am going to try it now...
ReplyDeletenewwrldyankee, thanks for stopping by! Good luck with the album cover.
ReplyDeleteUm yes, a very interesting group, and I too wonder how many albums will be sold.
ReplyDeleteGreat cover.
muzbot, thanks. The first and last album for this pretty untalented group of noisemakers!
