Seen In Séguret

How about a little scene from Provence on a sunny Saturday morning? The village is Séguret in the Vaucluse.

Not a great photo, but I wanted to get my face off the top of the blog. Don't want to scare the little children.

  1. Oh, this is cool, today! I need to type in "snoow" to comment and it's SNOWING here in 'Bama as I type. I think your blog may be haunted;-)

Have you ever seen snow in Seguret?

BTW I like your photo a lot, especially the fountain. It reminds me of the simple beauty of French towns.

  2. Why don't we have fountains like these in the New World? I guess they were too busy fighting the Indians, and then among each other. We're starting in Toronto to have a little pond here and there in the city, sometimes with a modern sculpture. Of course yours has the patine du temps. It's so charming!

  3. evelyn, more snow? Wow. I've not seen snow in Provence. But up here where we live is another story...

claudia, some cities, like NY and Boston, are full of fountains, although there are probably few that are this charming.
