She's a pretty little puppy. Almost a year old.
As I've said, for her birthday she will get a good grooming. And she needs it. I have not been very good at brushing her out, and she has matted fur behind her ears. I swear that, after this grooming, I will brush behind her ears every day. Yes. I will.
She sure has grown up.
ReplyDeleteDishevelled or not, she looks lovely.
ReplyDeleteA princess waiting to be queen.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweetie!
ReplyDeleteThe mats don't show and she is lovely.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful face! She is lovely.
ReplyDeleteI was hoping for a Tasha post! She is so lovely. Do you think she is full grown now?
ReplyDeleteONE YEAR OLD ALREADY????? time sure does fly! Tasha sure is a pretty girl!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad Tasha Tuesday is back. ;) She's a beautiful doggie! And yeah, I made similar promises in the past. Hoping you're better at keeping yours. ;)
ReplyDeleteShe is a lovely looking animal. Grooming is always a problem but if you do a bit each day it is actually much quicker in the end :-) Have a good week, Diane
ReplyDeleteWe used to have Cavalier Spaniels whose long, fine hair always got matted behind their ears. Then...when they scratched behind their ears, lots of screams of pain. A simple way to clean out the matts is to cut them "out" not across.
ReplyDeleteStart as close to the skin as your dog will allow. Point the scissors away from the skin and cut through the matt. Very gently tease out some of the matt. Do this one or two more times. You may not get it all out the first day but after several days the matt will be completely gone and your dog will be happier. This method leaves much of the unmatted hair intact so your dog's coat will look lovely and natural.
