Queen Anne's Lace Again

I can't get enough of this stuff. I think it's cool in all its forms. So here's another gratuitous shot of carotte sauvage.

Queen Anne's Lace (daucus carota), all balled up.

There's a lot of it out there and it's putting on quite a show as it heralds the waning summer season. And these days there's a chill in the morning air. Fall is just around the corner.

  2. Hey Walt,
You take care with all those savage carrots......:))

Back here in the UK Lulu's been cutting short her morning walks, something to do with the wind, rain and temperature.....she just told me she wants to spend more time with Callie...

  3. angela, thanks! We had a great time.

nick, Callie misses Lulu, too! We actually enjoyed the rain we had in the Auvergne compared to the parched conditions back here where we live.

  4. Are you aware of the research being done by Robin Rose Bennett on the natural contraceptive properties of wild carrot? A very useful plant, thanks for highlighting it
