Leftovers again

We've got some odds and ends in the fridge that need eating. Among them, a small portion of ratatouille and some bits of a smoked chicken. I'll add some mushrooms and cheese and make pizzas for lunch today.

A Gary Larson classic. At least in my mind.

It's going to be a warm day, but it won't be too warm to use the oven at lunch time. I hope.

  1. Gary Larson is a classic.... his cartoons fit exactly into my mindset... or have created my mindset??
If I round a corner in the car and see a field of Black&White cows....
I immediately wonder if they were standing on their hind legs chatting, mere seconds before!!?

  2. I love Gary Larson and your idea of leftovers. MY idea of leftovers is cold pizza from the box... or even that chicken right out of the refrigerator.

  3. Or...last night when I just put some frozen Costco roasted chicken on a plate and shortly thereafter ate it as in the 95 degree heat it didn't take long!!! The best part was the french lavender mustard I put on it that had been a gift from one of my french friends from class!

Gary Larson - who can't laugh at his creativity??? One of my favorite cartoonists!

  4. My mother used to make Mustgo Soup. She’d look in the fridge and say, That must go, That must go and that must go. It all became soup.

Another big fan of Gary Larson here.
