Ready for dessert?

Many of you have been asking to see what we've done with our blueberries. Well, now is the time. Like I said previously, we've been eating the fresh berries. We finished them on Tuesday. I made some shortcakes and we've been eating those with berries and cream for a few days.

Doesn't that look tasty!

The remaining berries are all frozen. I'm planning to make a blueberry clafoutis this weekend and I'll try to remember to take pictures of it. It's a baked custard with fruit inside, and so a perfect recipe for frozen berries.

  4. Yumm! I'll be making a Tarte Amandine aux Fruits this weekend, with blueberries and peaches. I ran across a bottle of Poire William a few months ago, so I'll be brushing it with that (I haven't had an appropriate liqueur to do that part of the recipe up 'till now.)
