On our vineyard walk this morning, Callie and I watched the moon sink slowly into the southwest. She chases and barks at the moon when it's bright and visible in the morning sky.

About 7:15 am on Thursday 19 March.

Soon after I snapped this shot, some wispy clouds moved over the moon and the dog lost interest.

  1. So happy to find your blog again, I found it a couple of years ago I guess when I was trying to figure out how to best get my new puppy across the pond!

  2. What a shot! Gorgeous!

  3. it looks so surreal. almost like a painting. too bad callie lost interest, its really striking.

  4. what a coincidence !
Our moon looks just like this one!

  5. juli, glad you're here! How'd it go with the pup?

    ginny, thanks!

rachael, once she can't see it anymore, she forgets about it.

urspo, ah, the mysteries of the universe! ;)

  6. Turns out my pup loves to fly, good thing as we cross back and forth several times a year! Thank you for the welcome.

Pour your heart out! I'm listening.
