Keeping those gravel walkways, not to mention the courtyard, at Valençay looking so pristine must be a difficult job. But I'm sure that the gardeners have a few secrets, like little tractors that pull machines that vacuum up leaves and/or rake the gravel smooth.

ReplyDeleteThat does look like a fun job! I have a leaf blower but maybe I need a leaf vacuum instead. The woods behind my house and the breeze keep my driveway littered with leaves.

"Boy Toys" - the gardeners probably have to take turns getting to make those swirls in the gravel each day!
