The heating technician came back last Thursday to relocate the base station for our wireless thermostat. It took him about an hour to move the box and re-regulate the system, but I have to say (knock on wood) that it worked. We've moved the remote unit around to different places and it hasn't dropped the connection once. That's more like it.
Catkins on a birch (I think) tree.
It's not like we're needing a lot of heat right now. Temperatures are curiously mild and are expected to stay so for another week. Everybody's talking about it. Nobody's doing anything about it. Rim shot.

Walt, happy birthday. I hope you have just the kind of celebration that you like. Good food and drink will be involved, I predict.
ReplyDeleteI thought that you would have had to put Birthday candles on the base station, now you could have a cake. Happy celebration!
ReplyDeleteBon Anniversaire Walt. Hope you have a good one. The season is very wrong here in the South of the UK too (Isle of Wight). Warm and soggy - no "deep and crisp and even" here this year.
ReplyDeleteStay warm and comfy on your birthday! Happy Birthday!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday, Walt! Enjoy the steak!

ReplyDeleteHappy birthday. Bon anniversaire. I like your idea of growing a tiny, new evergreen for your yard, a present to yourself for the future.
ReplyDeleteThanks to all! It was a good day. :)
