More green

This is another view of the "West 40" section of the back yard, this time looking east toward the house. You can really see that the house is at the top of a ridge and how the land slopes down toward streams to the north (left) and south (out of the photo to the right).

The vineyards are at my back in this shot.

You may know by now that I'm in Paris this weekend. A very good friend of mine is in town on the first leg of a tour to Normandy and she has some free time, so we're hanging out together. Ken is at home keeping the animals company. I'll be back on Monday evening.
