When there was sun

We had some bright, sunny days a couple of weeks ago. Since then, it's been more or less cloudy or rainy. Yesterday, the clouds let some sun through most of the day and it felt good, but still chilly. The forecast is for the sun to come back and temperatures to warm up again through the weekend. The garden will like that.

Let's hope July is more like this than June was.

I'm probably as sick of writing about the weather as you are reading about it. The cat just brought a mouse indoors and the dog is barking, ready for her walk. Another day begins.

  1. Some people get cats to get the mice out not in! However, Bertie is such a sweet cat.

  2. Does Tasha have no interest in Bert’s gifts? Oddly, I never tire of talking about the weather. I guess it’s a more interesting topic when it’s not the same as ours.

  5. Walt - please accept my humble apology for my outburst about the 'Tour' the other day. Oregon has been under that d _ _ _ heat dome and me with no a/c (the temperature got up to 90 deg F. with 53% humidity on Sunday night in my living area while I was trying to watch a movie). That is my excuse and I'm sticking to it.

  6. chm, they're not "in" for long. He eats them.

mitch, Tasha doesn't seem to be interested in the mice, but she does bark for a treat whenever Bert eats.

bettyann, you can say that again!

judy, at least one a day. Like vitamins. ;)

    mary, ugh, that's hot!
