This caught my eye the other morning as I was walking through the vineyards with Callie. I've shown pictures of this antenna tower before, but on this particular morning at this particular moment it took on a new look.
It wasn't long before the cloud moved and changed shape and the illusion was over.

That's wonderful!
ReplyDeleteWow, that's weird. I thought it was a smokestack at first.
ReplyDeleteWild!
ReplyDeleteLooks so much like a feather- speaking of which Lewis and I have found two large turkey feathers on our recent walks.
ReplyDeleteAmazing photo!
ReplyDeleteSuper! What a keen eye you have!Could this 'feather' be the 'leftover' of a steam cloud from the power plant near Blois?
ReplyDeletePagasus dropped a feather!
ReplyDeleteWonderful photo.
Talk about being in the right place at the right time! Great photo, Walt.

I've never seen a cloud like this. Are they common in your area, or did something unusual cause this?
ReplyDeleteIt's a great photo. Is it possible that electric transmission off the tower affected the cloud?
ReplyDeleteA most interesting formation.
