Me and Collette in front of our Silicon Valley house, circa 1994.
The dog is our Collette. We adopted her from the Humane Society in 1992 when we lived in Sunnyvale, a city in Silicon Valley. She was a great dog, and she moved with us to France in 2003. She died back in 2006 and we still miss her. But now we have Callie, a very good dog!
CHM took the picture with an Apple QuickTake camera, one of the first digital cameras. Wow!
Nice knees! P.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great throw-back photo! You haven't changed a bit.
ReplyDeleteWalt - you have inspired me - may I be a copy cat and join you as a Throw back Thursday blogger.
ReplyDeleteWOOF! and I don't mean collette! ;-)
ReplyDeleteI love reliving memories through old photos.
ReplyDeleteAfter sending you theses photos — I should have done that before —, I found out Frank and I didn't go to Mountain View at all n 1994, but we did in September 1993. So, this photo is exactly twenty years old. Wow! Time flies, doesn't it?
ReplyDeleteAwwww, so nice to see you with Collette :) You really have hardly changed, Walt.
ReplyDeleteDo you have any photos of chm back in DC days or anytime? We all hear about chm and the long-standing friendship you two have with him, but we've only ever seen photos from a visit or two to your house in recent years. Chm.... are you game? :)
Very fashionable, Walt! You were ahead of the game... Only now have I noticed more men wearing light pink ties with scarves in their suit pockets and just last week I saw a middle-aged man wearing a hot-pink polo shirt crossing the street!!!
ReplyDeleteI love throwback Thursday photos! Collette looks young here- she was a sweetheart.
ReplyDeleteAdorable...both of you!
ReplyDeletec, this was right after I started working for Mike E. You and I probably met for the first time around then!
