Interesting angles in a spider's web.
Summer is making a brief reappearance in our neck of the woods. We're having high temperatures in the mid 20sC (high 70sF). The weather is expected to break over the weekend with the arrival of a low pressure system and thunderstorms. Still, the temperatures aren't expected to drop a lot in the following week. We'll see.
Meanwhile, I've started the lumberjacking process. So far, I've cut forty logs (two cuts each) and stacked them. There's still a long way to go.
Nice picture!
ReplyDeleteWe're very much hoping he warm weather lasts just a little longer.

ReplyDeleteHooray for the return of summer....however brief!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI envy a lot in your life; split logs for a proper fire is one of them. Boy how I miss a fireplace !
ReplyDeleteWhat a stunning photo!!
ReplyDeleteSome of our wood arrives on Monday but thanksfully we don't have to cut it . However, we do have a field maple to deal with, it sort of keeled over [still alive] and will make good fire wood - once it's seasoned... .so it will be chainsaw at the ready soon.
Oh Walt, your pics sometimes take my breath away....
ReplyDeletec, you're too kind! I need to go back and check out your club's site again. Any news?
DeleteHi Walt, well some places and some misses. The last competition neither of my two snaps were placed, and there were only three entries! I missed what the judge said, but it was clear he did *not* like my entries! Your snaps give me inspiration....
