We have several patches of mint in the back yard. Some is wild and grows around the apple trees; I think it's called apple mint. The other two kinds we planted ourselves.
This is not the apple mint, but another variety, maybe horse mint or something similar.
While some consider it a sin to plant mint, I have half of one of my raised beds for mint, and even enjoy it sprouting up in my other beds as well. Lovely pic! ~ Christine
