I don't know what kind of plant this is, but its flowers seem to be just budding now. I saw it on the edge of the woods next to a vineyard parcel. The flower heads are stretching out toward the light, away from the shadows of the woods.
Then at a deadly pace, it came from outer space...
I'll have to check back in a few days to see what they look like once they've opened. Maybe then I'll be able to identify them. Of course, I'll need to find them again. Uh-oh.
I don't know either, but if they grow into gigantic pods, don't go to sleep. BTW, that focus is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteIvy.... very important for the bees and other critters that need nectar reserves for the winter.
ReplyDeleteAnd I heartily agree with Stuart re: the focus!
On the other hand.... could it have escaped from Futuroscope?
Focus/bokeh > great pic! I'm really enjoying your new camera, Walt. ;)
ReplyDeleteHold your fire, Mr. Zulu, it may be an intelligent life form...
ReplyDeleteOh nice shot Walt! Also like the pic of the week - jolly plump grapes!
ReplyDeletestuart, I'll keep my eyes on them!
ReplyDeletetim, thanks. I'll go back and see if I can find them again.
elgee, me too!

christine, thanks! Are you still taking that photo workshop where you posted photos online?
Hi Walt, still in the club, but I have not submitted many images this year. I will be out in the bay under the fleet week nonsense, so I should get some good snaps there. I really enjoy and admire your photos.
