This is what yesterday's yellow flowers look like when they've gone to seed.
Ensuring a fresh crop for next year.
I feel bad for those of you in the US who are being subjected to the final weeks of political advertising. In fourteen days it will be all over (at least for now).
Our autumn garden is still going strong. The vegetable garden is gone but our annuals have survived a couple of close calls and the fall perennials are all in full bloom. The late October days are truly glorious -- it's my favorite of all seasons and this year is a great one.
The entire campaign has been unbearable, massive saturation of political ads on TV, far more than usual and repeated ad nauseam all day. Can't wait for it to be over.
Living outside of Saint-Aignan-sur-Cher since 2003. You'll find here pictures and descriptions of our daily life in rural France, some travels, and other stuff about me, my husband Ken, and our dog Tasha.
