I forgot to brush off the crumbs before I took the photo. Sorry about that.
It's working pretty much as you'd expect so far; no defects. The fat slots make it easy to toast baguettes. And it's easier to regulate than the toaster oven it replaced. I'm thinking of making a batch of English muffins today. I'll also make some bagels again soon. They all make good toast.
Oh, and, by the way, today is this blog's eleven year anniversary. Or blogiversary, as it were.
Congratulations on the 11th year blogiversary, Walt! I sincerely hope many, many years will follow.
ReplyDeletewhat crumbs? ALL toasters should come with VERY W-I-D-E slots!
ReplyDeletebonne blogiversary!
Cingratulations!
ReplyDeleteHappy blogiversary, Walt! Sometimes I read your blog with toast lol, but today it was with a smoothie.
ReplyDeleteWell achieved, Walt. A remarkable further long distance still to go, I trust.
ReplyDeleteI love the wide slots. So many toasters in the U.S. only have skinny slots.
ReplyDeleteHappy blogiversary!
Happy blogiversary, Walt! I LOVE reading both yours and Ken's blog. Can't imagine the day without them anymore. ;) So here's to the next 11 years (at least!).
ReplyDeleteFélicitations -happy blogiversary
ReplyDeleteWell done on eleven years. We bought a Smeg kettle and toaster and guess what? The kettle boils water and the toaster toasts. They are absurdly priced here and although we love the look, it was money badly spent.
ReplyDeleteOh what a splendid toaster
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing so lovely as toast, is there?
Great toaster....and happy blogiversary. You and Ken have the best blogs around.
ReplyDeleteThanks everybody! :)
ReplyDeleteYes, happy blogiversary! Why, I am not sure, but I dislike the name SMEG and would not want it in my kitchen at any price.
