I noticed them on Sunday. There is a single yellow crocus poking up in the bare dirt where I saw and split firewood. I'm trying not to trample it. Out back, in the grass among the cyclamen, I counted at least eight purple crocuses blooming in the sunshine.
Two purple crocuses adding a little color to the lawn out by the well.
In other parts of the lawn, the primroses are blooming. I also see the daffodils, tulips, and hyacinths are up. We're still a few weeks from flowers on those..
Beautiful shot with those colors and narrow DOF !
ReplyDeleteYou should get a shot of the yellow crocus.
ReplyDeleteDon't get shot of the Yellow crocus...
ReplyDeletedig it up with a good rootball and move it into the lawn.
Spring is in the air! Beautiful shot!
ReplyDeleteI hope so!!!!!!!!!!
Deleteno flowers here, only 24 inches of snow. :(
ReplyDeleteSaw my first blooming daffodil Monday. Our Lenten roses are blooming now, but look like they didn't appreciate their winter this year!
ReplyDeleteLovely Walt!
ReplyDeleteAnd so sorry about your oven. Darn obsolescence!
ReplyDeleteStill have to wait at least four weeks before any crocus here. *sigh*
ReplyDeleteclusters of crocus, purple and gold....
ReplyDeleteI miss these flowers, which herald spring and the end of winter.
Another thing I miss... but not enough to move back to that climate...
