This is the Chapelle Saint-Hervé atop one of the highest points in Brittany, le Menez-Bré. It's probably the highest point that you can drive to. The chapel was closed to visitors when we were there, but that's understandable given that it was January. I got out of the car to take a few photos while Ken stayed warm inside and studied the map for the best route to our next destination.
La Chapelle St.-Hervé in Brittany. Digitized color slide, January 1992.
We're watching the hurricane that's heading toward Florida in the US. We have friends and family in the path and we're hoping they are prepared and safe. It looks like it's going to be a bumpy few days for Floridians.
The chapel looks good for its age, or any age. Must be some view.
ReplyDeleteHoping for the best for your friends and family down there.
ReplyDeleteNice old church,
ReplyDeleteGetting around is lots easier now with google maps.
ReplyDeleteGood, solid, old church. We are hunkered down here waiting for the hurricane.
