I love how the veins in this leaf make little compartments of color.
We keep seeing lots of activity around the power line project going on in our neighborhood. The actual burying of the wires is long finished, but we're seeing work going on up on the poles and near the new ground-level transformers. I think they're getting ready to transfer power to the new lines. Just this week we've seen big generators installed around our neighborhood. They must have something to do with the changeover.
We have the spring colours now.
ReplyDeleteThat is quite a leaf photo, Walt!
ReplyDeleteThe green part of the leaf looks like a map of Salton City.
ReplyDeleteSalton City near Indio, California? I need to look at a map and refresh my memory!
DeleteYes, I used to spend the winters there.
