The temperature was 0ºC (32ºF) and the grass was frosty. So were Callie's toes, but she didn't mind.
This year's Beaujolais Nouveau doesn't taste like a "new" wine to me. If I didn't know, I wouldn't be able to tell the difference between it and a one- or two-year old bottle. And since the grape in Beaujolais is gamay, the principle grape in our own region of the Touraine, it's almost like drinking a local wine.
If you celebrated Thanksgiving, I hope you had a nice one. On to the solstice!
frosty callie! we need a bertie pix too!
ReplyDeleteThat's a really nice wide angle shot. Callie is looking a little suspicious. Can you read her mind here?
ReplyDeleteYes, on to the solstice and tomorrow is the Iron Bowl featuring #1 vs #4 and you definitely know something is up if you live in Alabama.
ReplyDeleteBrrrrr! I bet she even braved sitting down as well.
ReplyDeleteLeftovers!! Yummmmmm!
ReplyDeleteLove the change of seasons!
ReplyDeleteWe haven't had a Beaujolais Nouveau, yet. Hopefully, Robb will remedy that today!
ReplyDeleteAh yes, I got to drink and toast Thanksgiving with Beaujolais, too! Georges De Boeuf and it came with someone who hadn't even known I was hoping for it! The clerk at the store reccommended it to him! I was thankful! It was nice, and did taste to me like an early wine.
ReplyDeleteBrrrr, is right. Did you warm up Callie's toes when you brought her in for her "douche"?
anne marie, Ken did a Bertie post recently. Did you see it?
ReplyDeletestuart, yes. She's thinking, "C'mon. I'm hungry."
evelyn, who won?
raybeard, well, crouching down, at least. :)
judy, you can say that again!
ron, me too!
starman, was he successful?
mary, great! Yes, Callie's a spoiled pooch. Towel dry, then ready for breakfast.
