Wherever there is open space around us, the tall grasses and wildflowers thrive. This is a space between the vineyard road and the old storage cabin out there. Every once in a while, the growers will come by with a mower and cut it down, but that hasn't happened in this spot for a while.

Wildflowers and grasses.

We're expecting a nice day today. Dry with a high in the mid twenties (mid seventies F). I should get an outdoor project done in advance of yet another couple of chilly rain systems predicted for Monday and Tuesday. Ugh.

  1. The old shed is charming partially hidden by grasses and wildflowers. I’m glad they haven’t trimmed there. Glad you’ve a reprieve from the rain. Today is supposed to be 80-ish here but currently 82 percent humidity. Tomorrow is headed for the high 90s!

  2. Wildflowers are always so pretty. We, in the US, can thank Lady Bird Johnson for the wildflowers along the highways here. It was one of her projects as First Lady.

  3. Congrats on getting all of that mowing done :)

  4. What a nice photo; it would make a good model for a watercolor too.

  5. mitch, our humidity is high, but it's not hot. It feels muggy, though, and buggy.

    evleyn, :)

    bettyann, I remember!

judy, thanks. I'm going to have to do it all again, soon!

    chris, :)

Pour your heart out! I'm listening.
